Expertise

Welcome to the Expertise listing. Here you will find a network of fellow professionals engaged with portraiture in a whole variety of ways: conservators, curators, dealers, researchers, learning professionals, academics and independent scholars.

The database is designed to enable the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and facilitate contact among those with common interests. Feel free to use this listing to find colleagues whose expertise may be relevant to your work.

Tip: you can search using the three drop-down filters, using a keyword, or pressing the ‘Show all’ button on the right. When using the filters, choosing one field (e.g. ’19th-century portraiture) will bring back all those who have registered an interest or expertise in that field. By choosing two or all three filters (e.g. ’19th-century portraiture’ and ‘Medical portraiture’) you can pinpoint your search to those who share both/all three of those fields of expertise.

The listing is constantly expanding, and you are invited to join. Simply contact us and we’ll send you a short form.
